The words "Royal Australian Regiment" are written in raised lettering around the gemstone. On one side of the ring is the official badge (kangaroo, crossed rifles, laurel wreath etc.), and on the other side is the words "Vietnam, Malaya, Borneo, Korea". The ring in the centre of the picture depicts a variation in choice and applies to airborne divisions, replacing Vietnam etc. On the other side of the ring is the official badge again.

5/7 R.A.R. Association:
A third variation now available still has the "kangaroo badge" and the words "Royal Australian Regiment" around the top, but is personalised with "5/7 RAR ASSOC" on the other side of the ring.
